Car Fire

On my way home from work today I saw the smoke and approaching I could see flames under the car. I could see a couple people standing around on cell phones and a cruiser with lights flashing was pulling up as I passed. I saw the dead grass on the hillside and was wondering to myself if it was going to catch. I heard on the news a couple minutes later that the car had just exploded. Too bad their car burned up, but I am soooooo glad I passed it before traffic had time to stop. 2 hour backup is insane!

One Big KISS

So I pretty much say this every time, but the event today was the most fun I've had at one of these! The store sends volunteers to help out at local children's events. Today we went to help answer phones at the One Big Kiss Radiothon, benefiting the Seattle Children's Hospital's Greatest Needs fund. Basically helping children get the medical treatment they need. It was a lot of fun and there were tons of great people calling in with monthly and one time donations. If you'd like to help make sick children feel better, call 206-987-1061 or donate online.
